Making great holidays happen in Cornwall

Porthleven Food Festival 2019

Further to its fantastic harbour and majestic sea views, Porthleven is also home to the annual Porthleven Food Festival, representing a well-established favourite on the festival calendar that brings together around 30,000 people in and around the historic fishing town. The festival is currently in its eleventh year and is bigger and better than ever-before, with an international chef's theatre, food stalls, street food and music day and night, as well as further entertainment for visitors of all ages!

What’s On?

The Porthleven Food Festival 2019 will run from 26th - 28th April and will feature a fantastic selection of culinary offerings, with a tempting spread of street foods and the very best wares available from local traders. Attending local traders and businesses will include the Kota and Kota Kai restaurants, the Cornish Venison Co. and Tarquins Gin amongst many others, meaning that there will be plenty of treats to sample to suit all tastes.

The event is also home to a lively Chef's Theatre that attracts the very best talent from the South West and beyond, with previous attendees including Antony Worrall Thompson, Jack Stein and Porthleven’s own Jude Kereama.

While enjoying the various tastes on offer during the Porthleven Food Festival, visitors will also be able to indulge in a splendid offering of entertainment at the event’s highly popular Literature and Acoustic Tent. Here guests will find real ‘food for the soul’ with words, film and music spanning over two days, bringing talented artists of all stripes from Cornwall and further afield.

With so much on offer, there is every reason to visit the festival during each day of the event to get the most out its wealth of culinary treats and activities!

This Year’s Theme
