Mullion is the largest village on the Lizard peninsula and has a range of shops, pubs and cafes. Close by is beautiful Mullion Cove which is still a small working harbour. Within walking distance from the village there are a number of beaches well worth a visit. Fishing is close to the heart of many of the villagers as the town is built close to two rivers and the sea, making trying the local seafood a must. The village is large enough to have its own doctor's surgery and pharmacy.
The Chocolate Factory and Craft Centre is situated on the road leading from the village to the cove and has plenty of parking. Sample the Trenance Chocolate, choose a gift at the craft shops, visit the llamas and maybe enjoy a coffee and a snack.
The Mullion Cove Hotel is situated atop the cliffs overlooking the bay and Mullion Cove and is a great place to enjoy a drink, lunch or dinner.
There is plenty to enjoy on the Lizard, with access to miles of coastal path, scenic coves and beaches, and welcoming pubs and cafes.
