The Lizard Peninsula is the most southerly point in the British Mainland and has some of the most spectacular beaches and coves ready to be explored. Lizard Village itself has a range of shops, cafes and of course, the pub, where you can purchase a whole range of local produce. You simply must sample one (or more) of Ann's famous pasties and deciding what ice cream flavour to try can take some time.
Ideal for walkers, bird watchers and families there is plenty for everyone. The Lizard lighthouse is well worth a visit and the views from the peninsula are breathtaking.
There are quite a few villages on the Lizard including Mullion, Coverack, St Keverne and Lizard Village, all of which have their own unique attractions. There are lots of places to amble and spot for a pint and a pasty or to sample some of the beautiful seafood and local produce Cornwall has to offer.
