Claimed to be one of the oldest towns in Britain, Marazion is a popular holiday destination situated in the middle of the beautiful Mount's Bay.
St Michael's Mount is situated approximately 500 yards offshore and can be walked to at low tide via an ancient cobbled causeway or by small ferry boats when the tide is in. With it's fairytale like castle perched at the top of the mount and beautiful sub-tropical gardens there is so much to explore.
Marazion Beach is found in the heart of Mount's Bay. Its safe shallow waters and soft sands make it a perfect base for families, and for the more adventurous it's a great spot for watersports enthusiasts with kite surfing and paddleboarding lessons available.
The town itself is charming with narrow winding streets and plenty of interesting shops and galleries to visit. There is a good selection of eateries to suit all tastes and budgets. Whether it's a take away pasty or a fine dining experience you are after Marazion will not disappoint.
