Traditional stone cottage beautifully renovated to provide a perfect hideaway for two people or a base for three to explore from. The cottage sits on the edge of the village and perfectly placed to tour the rugged countryside and see the engine houses for the nearby mines that run under the seabed. Why not bring the dog and enjoy fantastic walks on the coastal path, before enjoying a cosy pub meal in The Queens Arms about 100m from the cottage.
Downstairs is a comfortable lounge/diner with multi-fuel burner, with the kitchen to the rear. The kitchen has been modernised to include a butler sink, cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. There's a TV with Freeview, DVD player and WiFi. Heat is provided via vintage radiators running off the burner and additional electric heaters.
Outside is an enclosed courtyard with seating area and kettle BBQ. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in the shed and there's a car port behind the cottage. Beautiful cottage in a great location close to the coast path. Great for couples and their dogs who enjoy walking. Local pub is friendly and serves good food. Excellent bus service so a car is not essential whilst staying there. Ms Christine Johns - 10th January 2019

Loved it. Had a great time. Really enjoyed our holiday in Cornwall. Cornish Horizons took great care of us and we quick to respond to any of our queries and concerns. Lindy Yeates - 27th September 2018
This is the second year I have stayed in the cottage and found it to be very comfortable and cosy. Had everything I needed. I love the area which is the main reason for being here again, the stunning scenery, the tin mines and loads of nice places to visit. Janet Bevan - 9th September 2018
The cottage was situated 5 minutes from the wonderful, wild cliffs of Bottalack where there was easy access to the South West costal path. This was a great bonus as we did not require the car much at all. Also there was the excellent Atlantic Coast open top bus service which stopped regularly 2 minutes from the cottage. St. Just which is approx. 5 minutes by car is a lovely village with plenty of places to eat and is of historical importance to the region. Lots of places to explore which are easily accessed by foot especially if you are interested in the rich history of the tin mining industry.Mr Stephen Brown - 24th June 2018
I really loved the location and it was the perfect size for me and my dog - I do intend to stay at the cottage again. Miss Kalie Dowling - 16th February 2018
