26 Chapel Street is a handsome Georgian town house, situated on one of the most iconic and desirable streets in Penzance. This beautiful house has been tastefully and sympathetically renovated to a very high standard throughout and benefits from being just a few minutes walk from both the seafront, and the centre of town with its array of restaurants, shops and galleries. On entering the house there is a pretty vestibule and spacious lounge with comfy sofas, a gas fire and Smart TV. There is a wc/utility room on this floor, and a fabulous kitchen/breakfast room fitted with quality appliances which leads through to a sunny garden room with dining area. French doors lead out to a pretty south-facing enclosed patio garden with seating.
On the first floor a master bedroom with kingsize bed is situated at the front of the house. Along the landing is the family bathroom with large walk in power shower and elegant free standing bath. There is also a wet room on this floor with another walk in power shower. The dual aspect second bedroom is to the rear and has zip and link beds which offers the flexibility of it being arranged as a twin room or a king, and enjoys sea views out to Mount's Bay. Another staircase leads you up to the third bedroom on the second floor. This is a cute and cosy twin room with low ceilings and again enjoys those lovely sea views out over Mount's Bay. 26 Chapel Street is within walking distance to everything including the historic Jubilee Pool, Britain's largest surviving seawater lido. Ideally located for exploring West Cornwall with good bus and rail links.

We had a great stay in this lovely house. Brilliant central location for Penzance. Well equipped house can’t say anything negative. We will be back.D. Lovell - 27th March 2020
It looks small from the outside but it's like Dr. Who's TARDIS, much bigger on the inside. Great place to stay and close to the inimitable Admiral Benbow Inn with off street parking close by, a definite plus in Penzance. Lovely kitchen and dining room.Mr J Bennett - 3rd February 2020
We like this property very much and have visited it several times and plan do so so next year.Mrs Teresa Crocker - 13th September 2019
We really appreciated your welcome cream tea and the beautiful flowers! Thanks a lot!Mrs Andrea Esser - 7th July 2019
This modern, comfortable property was a delight to stay in. The property is airy and light and equipped with everything you would want for a stay. There are sea views from two of the bedrooms and also through the gate at the bottom of the garden. It is within walking distance to the town centre, the promenade, the beach, the quay and the Chinese and fish and chip takeaways. There was a lovely cream tea waiting for us along with milk and a bottle of local apple juice. The flowers were also much appreciated. I'm sure we will be back.J. Turner - 19th June 2019
We've stayed here before, and will happily stay again. We love this houseMs Lisa Sheppard - 17th May 2019
26 Chapel Street is a wonderful house to stay in. Its easy to “make yourself at home” and easy to be in. Luxurious bathrooms, spacious and clean. Carole Page - 15th April 2019
Very comfortable property.Ms Judith Barnsby - 3rd January 2019
26 Chapel Street was a fantastic location for our holiday in Cornwall. The house is superbly furnished and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated and got our holiday off to a fine start! I would highly recommend the house to anyone considering a holiday in this part of Cornwall.Mr Martin Butler - 30th July 2018
The house had everything we needed in an ideal location. The two bathrooms and downstairs loo/ laundry were very useful. It was good to have a key code rather than a key. The house was spotless when we arrived. Ms Diane Davies - 21st May 2018
Such an outstanding property! Loved it. Mr Aaron Lamers - 1st March 2018
A perfectly delightful holiday home - beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard, spacious rooms, 2 luxurious bathrooms, lovely secluded patio area. Everything we could wish for was provided. It's an ideal location with a Co-op at the top of the road and about 10 minutes from the bus and train station. We came by train and got around on foot and by bus, which worked very well. Things we specially enjoyed were: a walk round the interesting Georgian parts of Penzance - Regent Square, St. Mary's Terrace, Morrab Gardens. A matinee performace at the Minack Theatre. We booked lower terrace seats online weeks ahead, and got there over an hour before it started, so we got seats near the front. It was wonderful. Evening meals at the Old Lifeboat, The Boathouse, and Turk's Head. A walk along the coast from Penzance to St. Michael's Mount. Final tip - beware the gulls - one snatched my ice cream right out of its cone!Jim P, Bristol - 10th June 2017
Upon arrival, it was immediately obvious that the owners had comprehensively restored and refurbished the property to a very high standard. Everything was clean, bright and new. The tasteful inclusion of artwork, sculpture and paintings added a pleasing touch to the cottage.Lucy, Annabel, Rose and Carl - 15th April 2017
Two of us shared this lovely house for a week. We had a spacious bedroom each, mine faced the street and from my friend's room there was a view of the sea beyond the garden. The living room was very comfortable with a modern TV and constant wifi. We hadn't realised beforehand that Chapel Street is known as 'historic' and that number 26 is next door to the house where the mother and aunt of the Bronte sisters (and brother) lived before moving to Yorkshire. Close to the shops and the sea. Excellent!Rosalind, Edgware, Middlesex - 17th September 2016
We have had an amazing week. We all loved your home, it is fantastic. Lots of lovely touches, everything is here that we needed and more. It looks great and is very comfortable.Karen, Leanna, Brandon, Amy & Lexie
Had an amazing time in Penzance. We came with our two girls and my parents. Everything is on the doorstep from bars, restaurants to shops. The house itself is amazing too. It has everything you need and more. Staying with my parents we never felt we were on top of each other due to the size of the place. This is a very lovely house finished to a high standard.Claire & Paul Core
Absolutely charming! The attention to detail put in to welocme us was much appreciated after both a flight and train ride! We visited family in Penzance, so the size of the home allowed us to host dinners as well and current brochures were helpful in planning our day trips. 26 Chapel Street became our home away from home in Boston very quickly and we will definitely return. This was an amazing trip for the 3 of us - nana, daughter and granddaughter.Denise, Rosermary & Nadia
Just had our very best family holiday. Visited lots of amazing places and most of all, we stayed in an amazing holiday home, the best one so far. The kids loved their rooms and we all loved the walk in shower. Thank you for an amazing holiday, we wish we could stay forever. The Thomas Family
Spacious, airy and quite spiritual, a truly lovely experience. Thank you for such comfortable, relaxing and engaging stay in an elegant and lovely home. We live in the Yorkshire Dales and the convenience of the gardens, the Promenade, galleries and shops became a luxury and a treat.Kathy & Marthe Taylor
We had a lovely week in this lovely house. We really appreciated all the special touches, and can.t wait to come again. The Shaw Family
The kitchen was comprehensively equipped with just about everything you could need to prepare and serve food; the two bathrooms (wetrooms) were very modern and stylish and the beds were comfortable. It is very conveniently located within a few minutes walk of food shops, banks, chemists, pubs, restaurants, etc. We came by train and it's only a ten minute walk from Penzance station. Nice sea view out of the rear bedroom window. Highly recommended!Dave and Marty
