About Sennen Cove
Sennen Cove lies just one mile northeast of Land's End, at the southwestern tip of Cornwall. Sheltered by the mighty headland of Pedn-men-du, the Cove is tucked into the southeast corner of Whitesand Bay, with Sennen Cove Beach and Gwenver Beach to the northeast.
Sennen Cove has an award winning restaurant called The Beach, which has been awarded GOLD CHEFS award for promoting healthier safer food in Cornwall. The Beach restaurant also has the best Cornish fresh seafood and sea views.
Sennen cove also has many fine pubs which offer drinks and food which are open all day.
Sennen Cove is widely said to be one of the best places to go surfing for beginners and the more experienced surfers. One of the best waves on the beach is the cafe wave which on a mid tide and big swell can provide some excellent rides . For the more experienced surfers there is a reef about 100 meters off the shore called the cowloes.
Sennen also offers a lot more attractions like bird watching,horse riding and rock climbing which are very popular with climbing both civilian and military.
Dogs are not allowed on this beach between Easter and October
