If you're old enough to remember Poldark then you probably had long hair and now have none! 

This is, however, an authentic tin mine and the tour gives you a real feel of how tough things were for the miners.  Astonishingly, the last Cornish tin mine only closed in 1998. 

There are craft shops and there's no charge to enter the site - you just have to pay for the tour.
