Accommodation Details
Nanquidno Barn is a beautiful stone property at the head of the secluded Nanquidno Valley between Sennen Cove and Cape Cornwall. This is an absolutely lovely cottage built of honey coloured stone with a beautiful secluded garden in a quiet location where you can follow a stream down to a secluded shoreline renowned for it's wildlife. The focal point of the house is the large kitchen with dining table and oil fired Rayburn running the heating as well as providing the cooking facilities. There's a downstairs double bedroom and bathroom as well as a 'snug' or second lounge to relax in. The main sitting room is upstairs with vaulted beamed ceiling, TV & DVD with sky and a cosy woodburning stove. There's another double bedroom, a twin bedroom and wc. On one side of the house is a courtyard with a large family sized hot tub (surcharge) in a totally private location and a timber games room with pool table, air hockey and darts as well as a selection of games and equipment for the garden. The garden itself is enclosed by trees with lawn and a brilliantly designed stone seating circle set into the land with table & chairs and built in barbecue. There's parking for several cars on the driveway and in front of the property. A really special cottage in a special place. HOT TUB SANITATION & MAINTENANCE If you choose to use the hot tub it will be drained and sanitised before your visit by a professional pool maintenance company and they will return during the week to check on the treatment level in the water. This is essential for everybody's peace of mind and safety and is why there is a surcharge for use of the facility which only just covers the cost of this essential service.
