Mousehole is a real community of Cornish people and lively all year round with restaurants, pubs and cafes to compliment the stunning location. Granite mousehole cottages in stone paved narrow alleys hung with plants remind you of a mediterranean village and all streets lead down to the granite enclosed harbour with just a narrow gap to the sea which is closed with timbers in the winter.
Parking in Mousehole
Most of the houses and streets in Mousehole were built long before the invention of the car and to be honest parking can be an absolute nightmare. Once the town car parks are full you have no choice but to drive out of town towards Newlyn and could end up literally a mile away at busy times. Getting a permit doesn't guarantee a space so doesn't solve the problem.
Fortunately all of our Mousehole Cottages have private parking allowing you to enjoy a day out without worry.
