Meadow Cottage is a cosy compact granite cottage, which has recently been refurbished to a high standard whilst retaining it's charm. It's one of a row of traditional cottages in a small hamlet, less than a mile above Mousehole The small front garden leads you to the front door where you enter straight into the lounge which has two comfy sofas, a woodburning stove and a storage heater. Games and books are provided for rainy days.There is a portable cd/radio with an ipod dock and a television with inbuilt video player and ipod dock. The cottage has Sky T.V & wireless broadband. The colourful paintings have been sourced from a local artist. The bathroom and kitchen lead off the lounge. The bathroom has a heated towel rail, an electric shower over the bath and an electric shaver point. The kitchen looks out over the delightful rear garden. It is well equipped with everything you need. There's a fridge with a small freezer compartment, a washer/dryer an electric cooker and cookery books to provide you with inspiration. Upstairs are two good sized bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. Outside the cottage garden is beautifully secluded, full of Cornish wild flowers and plants. The garden is bordered by a meadow where in summer a friendly horse grazes. The summer house has lights, electricity and furniture. There's also a barbeque and a wrought iron patio set to provide the perfect place to end the day with a glass of wine, watching the wonderful sunset over the meadow. The King's Arms in Paul is within walking distance where you can have lunch or drinks outside. Music and quiz nights are popular. For a true flavour of the area walk down to the local farmers market in Paul on a Wednesday morning. It's a great place to get your fresh eggs, bread, cheese , vegetables & fish ! There are many wonderful restaurants close by in Mousehole, 2 Fore Street & The Cornish Range are memorable... not forgetting Janners Fish and chips eaten at the harbour with greedy seagulls screaming for a share.
