Phalaropes (Trewellard nr St Just)
Phalaropes is a modern house built from traditional stone property in a hamlet outside St Just on the road to St Ives. It's a spacious property with sea views from the rear across fields, you can even see The Isles of Scilly on a clear day. The coast path is a short walk away and the property is within the Mining World Heritage Site with stunning scenery, abandoned engine houses and varied wildlife including birds unique to this part of Britain. The house itself is named after a species of wadepiper.
There's a large well-equipped kitchen/diner, spacious lounge with TV & DVD and a snug room with sofa tv & playstation, as well as a downstairs wc and utility room. Upstairs are four bedrooms, king with en suite, double, twin and single as well as a family bathroom with bath.
The enclosed rear garden has a decked area with outside furniture and a small area of lawn. There's plenty of off road parking to the front.
You'll find two famous hostelries in the village, the Trewellard Meadery and the Trewellard Arms, which is a free house. There is also the Radjel Inn and The North Inn, as well as a fish and chip shop, a small mini-market and Heather's Coffee Shop.
