Tregoninny Farmhouse stands nestled at the top of a mile long private drive, surrounded by 194 acres of farmland and woodland. This private estate offers a tranquil escape for friends and family to enjoy beautiful uninterrupted far reaching countryside views in this spacious and well equipped farmhouse with converted barns. Offering flexible accommodation, the main farmhouse of Tregoninny accommodates 13 people in 6 bedrooms. The converted barns on the other side of the courtyard can accommodate up to a further 10 people*.
You know you are in for a treat as you make your way up the mile long wooded driveway of Tregoninny. At the top of the hill, you see the very substantial yet pretty farmhouse.
The entrance hall leads to the downstairs accommodation which comprises of grand vaulted banqueting hall featuring an impressive dining table to seat up to 26 and a snug area at the far end with woodburner and comfy sofa. Along the width of this room are french doors which open out into an equally impressive and very large conservatory, which benefits from plenty of comfy seating, tables and large wood burning stove to keep it warm and cosy. Spectacular views over the extensive gardens and estate can be enjoyed from here.
On the ground floor there is a large and well equipped farmhouse style kitchen, with Aga and breakfast table overlooking the gardens. There is utility room off the kitchen. You will also find the cosy sitting room on this floor with 50" Smart TV, comfy sofas and woodburner. This room also enjoys those garden views. Two bedrooms are on this floor; A dual aspect double bedroom with TV and a single bedroom. There is also a family bathroom with separate bath and shower, and a separate WC.

A real asset to this cottage is the huge games room complete with table tennis table, bean bags and board games.
Outside: To the rear of the farmhouse is a large courtyard with plenty of parking for numerous vehicles, and to the front of the farmhouse are the truly enormous gardens and terrace with tables and seating. There is a fish pond and the lower garden lends itself pefectly to a game of footie, rounders or just messing around and playing.
The farmhouse is surrounded by woods and farmland which guests are welcome to enjoy but please stick to the designated walks and tracks described in the welcome folder at the property.
Certain other areas of the farmland and wooded areas are being worked so are therefore unsuitable for guests due to health and safety reasons so must be avoided.
Although secluded, Tregoninny is just 2 miles from the centre of Truro, The Great Cornish Food store and Waitrose. There are excellent road links and St Austell, the beautiful Roseland Peninsula and the renowned sailing waters of the Carrick Roads are just a short drive away.

The layout of Tregoninny Farmhouse is such that a lot of thought has been put into wide internal doorways and gentle slopes replacing steps around the outside of the cottage. This means that the downstairs of the main farmhouse and some of the barn and annex accommodation is suitable for people with mobility issues.
