Accommodation Details
Elegant and very spacious family house was built in 1868 for a local merchant and stands just half a mile from the fishing village of Mousehole, with its collection of excellent restaurants and pubs. Standing proud in an elevated position, on the edge of the small village of Paul, it provides panoramic views from its first floor across the surrounding farmland and out to sea. The renowned Kings Arms is a short stroll away. Large mature garden and orchard offers plenty of secluded spots in which to sit and relax (pond- care with young children). With added attraction of its own indoor heated swimming-pool, this is an ideal choice for family holidays, within easy reach of the many sandy coves and rocky headlands of Cornwall’s stunning coastline.
Large living room with open fire in ornate fireplace & classic drawing-room, both with rugs on polished wooden floor. Third sitting/play room with exposed granite walls and door leading to indoor heated swimming-pool (15ft x 12ft). Spacious dining-room with ornamental Cornish range set in granite fireplace and polished wooden floor. Archway to kitchen with handmade pine and beech units, wooden floor, exposed beams and granite walls. First floor: Half-landing with cloakroom/W.C. Two double bedrooms, one with 5ft bed, shower cubicle and wash basin. Two twin-bedded rooms, each with wash basin. Two single bedrooms, one with antique 4ft iron and brass bed, each with wash basin. Bunk-bedded room. Two bathroom/W.C.s, one with shower cubicle. Bed linen is provided- bring your own towels and full night storage heating is available if required at £55 per week.
